As required by federal student aid regulations, a family's actual 2019 income must be reported on the 2021-22 FAFSA in order to assess financial need for the 2022-22 academic year.  However, if your family's 2020 income, or 2021 projected income, is substantially lower than 2019 income, and you can adequately document the reduction, you may use this form to request a professional judgment review to determine if 2020 income, or 2021 projected income, may be used in determining your eligibility for need-based aid programs.  If you are dependent on your parents for FAFSA filing purposes, your parent should submit this request.
